The Hellenic Institute of Transportation Engineers (H.I.T.E.) and the Hellenic Institute of Transport (H.I.T.) organize the «5th International Congress on Transport Research» with major subject: «Energy, environment and transport». The organization of this Congress, with a central theme this year, aims to underline the importance of these issues. This Congress is a well-established “institution” in Greece, as it will celebrate in 2010 its 10 years of existence.
In an effort of geographical spread across Greece (the previous four Congresses were organized in Athens in 2002, 2004 and 2008 and Thessaloniki in 2006) it was decided that the Congress will take place in the city Volos in late September 2010, in cooperation with the University of Thessaly
