The Hellenic Institute of Transport (H.I.T.) and the Hellenic Institute of Transportation Engineers (H.I.T.E.) organize the “7th International Congress on Transportation Research” with main theme: “From basic research to innovative applications”. The event will take place in Athens, Greece, at the Conference Hall (amphitheater) of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks, located at Holargos (2 Anastaseos Str. and Tsigante, PC 101 91), on 5 & 6 November 2015.

The Conference series on Transport Research (ICTR) ,is considered a well established event in the transport sector in Greece and it is addressed to all members of the scientific community as well as to agencies and authorities of all government levels. It is also addressed to private sector industries activated in the design, development and implementation of innovative applications in the transport sector. Main goals of the conference are the presentation of recent research efforts and results, the consideration of contemporary developments in this area, the strengthening of the relationships between research, practice and public policy and the exchange of opinions and experiences in the transport research arena at the national and international level.
